Soon after, the Kamil Pasha paid a visit to Bayt Jibrin to settle affairs and collect the town's overdue taxes. بعد فترة وجيزة قام كامل باشا بزيارة بيت جبرين لتسوية الشؤون وجمع الضرائب المتأخرة.
Muslih was well received in Hebron and returned to Bayt Jibrin escorted by twenty of the governor's men. فاستقبل كامل باشا مُصلح استقبالًا حارًا في الخليل، وعند عودته إلى بيت جبرين رافقه نحو 20 رجلا من رجال الباشا لحراسته.
In 1855, the newly appointed Ottoman pasha ("governor") of the sanjak ("district") of Jerusalem, Kamil Pasha, attempted to subdue the rebellion in the Hebron region. في سنة 1855، حاول كامل باشا المعين حديثًا آنذاك على «سنجق القدس»، إخضاع التمرد في منطقة الخليل.
Kamil Pasha then requested that the British consul in Jerusalem, James Finn, serve as an envoy and arrange a meeting with Muslih. على أثر هذا طلب كامل باشا من القنصل البريطاني في القدس -جيمس فين- أن يكون مبعوثًا حتى يرتب له لقاءً مع مُصلح.
The Grand Vizier Kâmil Pasha sent a note on 14 February 1889 to the head of the navy, Bozcaadalı Hasan Hüsnü Pasha, asking the name and possible departure date of a battleship, which was suitable to sail to the seas of Indo-China and Japan in order to put the theoretical knowledge of the Naval Academy graduates into practice. أرسل الصدر الأعظم (رئيس الوزراء) محمد كامل باشا مذكّرة في 14 يوليو 1889م إلى ناظر البحرية (الوزير) بوزجالدي حسن حٌسنو باشا يطلب من اختيار سفينة حربية مناسبة يمكنها الابحار إلى بحار الهند الصينية و اليابان وتحديد ميعاد مناسب للاقلاع، للتدريب العملي لمتخرجي الأكاديمية البحرية العثمانية.
